The Pursuit of Home: An Evening on Martha's Vineyard 2026

In August 2025, 200 leaders gathered on Martha's Vineyard for the inaugural Pursuit of Home convening. Funders, policymakers, legal minds, artists, and community builders came together around one belief: home and land are the foundation of intergenerational wealth, and protecting them takes real infrastructure.

That evening started a coalition.

Over the next year, the work moved forward across policy, capital, and community. More than $32 billion in property value remains tangled in heirs' property across the country. Hundreds of thousands of family-owned homes and lands are still at risk of being lost.

On August 11, 2026, we returned to the Vineyard to take stock and take the next step.
